Will it work with Windows 95/98/NT? The software works with Windows 95/98/NT The Teletext card works with Windows 95 and 98 but there is no Teletext driver currently available for NT. Will it work with Windows 3.1? Both the Teletext card and the software will work with Windows 3.1. To download the trial version you will need to do the following:
Will the Teletext card work with my PC? The Teletext card uses a 16 bit ISA slot which is compatible with most PCs, from early XT, AT 286s through to Pentium computers. Please check your computer has a spare ISA expansion slot. Will the software work with my TV / Teletext Card? Micro Share Investor 3.0 will work with the Micro Share Teletext card and the Hauppauge Win TV VTPlus program. If you already have a card, you can download and use the trial version of the software with your card. If you have another make of card please contact us here for details of the availability of other drivers. Will the Teletext card work with satellite TV? How do I plot prices through out the day? The Micro Share real-time program, allows you to plot prices as they change on Teletext. You can set the program to plot a line graph or show a bar for the high and low prices during a given period. The high/low period can be set to any value from 1 minute up to 200 hours. To see some example screen shots click here You will need a compatible Teletext or TV card to use the realtime program. How do I get prices for when I'm on holiday? Teletext The software can be set to download the prices when Windows starts up. There is also the option to shut down Windows when it has finished. You could use a timer switch to turn on your computer. Make sure the shutdown is enabled as it is bad practice to turn your computer off while Windows is running. Alternatively you could order an update diskette by clicking here. An e-mail for each of the days you were away will be waiting for you when you get back. How do I download a file from the Internet? When you download a file from the Internet you will be given the option to save that file. The save dialog box has a "Save In" section, allowing you to select which folder the file is saved to. Probable the simplest place to download to is the Desktop. When the download has finished you will see a new icon on the Desktop which you can then double click to open. When you have finished with the downloaded file you
